@Indie artists
What if⦠new communities for indie musicians start popping up that look a lot like ours?
Lately, weβve noticed something interesting: more and more platforms and communities are being created with a similar mission to oursβsupporting upcoming and indie musicians. Some even seem inspired by what weβre doing here.
So what should we do about it? Compete? Collaborate? Ignore?
Hereβs a thought: maybe itβs not a bad thing. Maybe it means that what weβre doing is workingβthat people see the value in giving lesser-known artists a voice and a space to shine. But it also raises an important question:
How do we stay true to our identity while growing in a space thatβs getting more crowded?
Letβs open the floor:
Should we reach out and connect with these other communities?
What makes our community special, and how can we protect that?
Do we need to level up what weβre offering to stay aheadβor do we stay focused on our mission and let the rest follow?
Share your thoughts. This community was built on passion and purposeβso letβs talk about how we protect that as we grow.
