TÅKEHJERTE (pronounced like Taw-keh-hyer-teh, meaning “fog heart” in Norwegian) moves between shadow and light, weaving stories of love, loss, and fragile hope. With piano, guitar, folk elements, and a genre-blending sound, it merges intimate singer-songwriter moments with the dark textures of pop and alternative rock. Sung in both Norwegian and English, TÅKEHJERTE gives voice to those who find beauty in melancholy and light within the fog.
My main metalcore project has been eden_dethroned, but over time I realised I had written so many songs that didn’t quite fit that sound — pieces that felt softer, more personal, yet still deeply emotional. Those songs needed to be heard, and that’s how TÅKEHJERTE was born.
