@Indie artists
Sometimes one post says everything.
Whether it’s a powerful story, a song release, or a comment that deserves attention — you can now link directly to it.
Here’s how to do it:
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Go to the post you want to share.
Scroll through the topic until you find the exact reply you want to highlight.
2. Look at the top-right corner of the post.
You’ll see a small timestamp — it might say “2 days ago,” “just now,” or “1 hour ago.”
3. Click on that timestamp.
Your browser will update the URL to include the post number.
4. Copy the full URL from your browser’s address bar.
That’s your Direct Post Link — it leads straight to that reply.
Example
After clicking the timestamp on post
#3 in the topic “The Clarity of Space – My First EP”, the link becomes: https://community.chatsong.nl/d/919-the-clarity-of-space-my-first-ep
You can now paste this link anywhere — in a caption, comment, carousel, or social media post.
⚠️ Important Note About TikTok & Instagram
Direct Post Links do not work properly on platforms like:
• TikTok
• Instagram bios
• Stories or Reels
These platforms don’t allow clickable links in most places.
Instead, you can:
• Add the link to your Chatsong profile
• Share it in a comment or DM
• Use a link-in-bio tool like Linktree or Beacons
💡 Why Use Direct Post Links?
• Focus attention on a specific moment or message
• Uplift an artist’s story or reply
• Make your posts more powerful and precise
• Encourage deeper engagement and conversation
Tips for Using It in the Community
• In your own posts:
• In onboarding guides:
• In social media captions (where links work):
