Lines Unspoken

My latest release is “Beneath My Skin”, coming out on September 26th.

It’s a song born out of years of writing in silence-turning pain into words and words into music.

The process stretched over months, because it wasn’t just about arranging chords or recording takes, it was about digging into the scars I usually keep hidden. The hardest challenge was letting go of perfectionism and daring to be vulnerable enough to leave the raw emotion in the track instead of polishing it away.

What I’m most proud of is that it feels brutally honest. It captures the weight of carrying battles inside your own skin, but also the fragile hope that someone out there will hear it and feel less alone.

I go under the name Lines Unspoken on Spotify (two tracks are already out, and “Beneath My Skin” will be the third). Link will be up in my Instagram bio: @lines_unspokenmusic when it drops.

@Indie artists we have a first reply thanks for sharing your story which is very brave of you to share and we are already very proud at you of sharing this and I recognize many in your story myself ! Also chatsong has his own scars hidden nobody knows about , so I really appreciate this open reply !

Redprint

Most of our tracks are a proces of several months or even years. Often it starts as a bassline that remains shelved for a long time before we are able to make a actual song from it. One of our latest releases is 245 and that is a perfect example. I think i play that bassline for 2 years before it turned into a song. Runaway is the same, released late last year but was already a concept in 2022.

The strange thing is that some tracks come together easy like colour me insane. This is the one i am most proud of and gets the most algorithmic attention. We recently released a extended version of this track because when we recorded it it was not actualy finished but it was to good not to record.

Challenges are mostly time spend perfecting it, structure comes fast but we keep tweeking it untill we have to say no more, this should be it or we would never complete a track.

Edit, soon we will release all our music packed as a album. Old songs remastered and the latest releases. For now you can have a listen to what we already did.

I’m Mark. My band is Beth Zero (alt/art rock, for want of better terms). Latest release is this EP that came out three weeks ago.

It took more time than I care to admit. Perfectionism and self-doubt are a hell of a combination.

I suppose the bright side is that all that stalling gave me time to work out what I wanted the music to sound like and say.

Also, since releasing a thing turned out not to be that horrific, I’m now moving a lot faster. Hoping to have a second EP out by the end of the year.
