Bloodhound Jenkins and the Moonshine Runners come from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, bringing a musical sound that is as wide as the area. With a vibe somewhere between Southern Rock, Country and a little bit of good old classic Rock and Roll thrown in, BJ and the Runners are creating a musical gumbo that is sweet to the ears. With pool of influences that include everything from Springsteen to Skynyrd to The Stones even bands like Dream Theater and Outlaw Country, BJ and the Runners are always dipping within a well of great musical mojo.
With their Debut EP “The Invitation”, Bloodhound Jenkins and the Moonshine Runners have set the table with what to expect from them when it comes to sound, and that you can never know what’s coming. The three songs within the EP are all totally different songs that range from funk-fried Southern Rock to straight up Country. It is truly an invitation to what is the BJ and the Runners “sound”.
Bloodhound Jenkins and the Moonshine Runners are planning on releasing their first full length album by the fall 2024. With more music on the way, BJ and the Runners are just getting the musical frying pans warmed up.
