Hey All! I just thought I would share my experience as to save ya’ll time and money. I’ve put in solid financial, time and energetic resources into Submit Hub. I prioritized my credits on blogs and never submitted to any playlists or influencers, so this is really about blog exposure and submissions. My submissions weren’t accepted by a single blog/outlet on Submit Hub. The feedback was comprehensive and eloquent about how amazing the songs were, but then like a few words at the end of the feedback like “but it just didn’t quite cut it”. However, when I signed up with Musosoup, I’ve been flooded with offers, including from the exact same blogs and outlets I submitted to and got rejected from on Submit Hub.
Granted Musosoup is more expensive, but at least you spend your money knowing you’re going to get returns unlike on Submit Hub, which literally feels like lighting a pile of money on fire. Also, if you’ve been feeling “bad” about not getting accepted much on Submit Hub, don’t stress because it has nothing to do with your music. Also, you don’t have to submit to individual outlets like on Submit Hub, the outlets essentially pitch to you. This has just been my experience and I was blown away. I’m never using Submit Hub again.
