A few stupid thoughts

Although with the advent of Streaming services it is now easier to get access to a wide range of people willing to listen to your music, most people in other countries due to cultural, religious and ethnic differences would choose to listen to locally made music. It would be an uphill battle to market for example an artist from Tanzania who speaks Swahili to a Chinese person because of the aforementioned differences.and in order to also achieve what you want to do, you’ll probably need millions of dollars to effectively market artists all over the world. But that is not a problem because all big things start small. And the gatekeepers of the music industry would be less inclined to let you have your way because you’re going to be bypassing a lot of industry protocols. this is just my observation. I might be wrong though

XY I agree with you.
The music industry is basically in the hands of 3 corporations Sony Music, Universal and Warner Brothers. Did you know Spotify can’t make a profit because Spotify has to pay 70% of every dollar earned to these corporations.

Big labels are paying now to be visible in playlists. Indie artists get the end of the stick. A platform like Chatsong lets us unite and makes us stronger as a community of independent artists
