Hi Chatsong Community! π
About Me & my 6th Release
I am Markus, producing under the alias TELN. I have always been deeply rooted in electronic music, focusing mostly on Tech House, UK House, and Electronica. For me, producing is not just about making a club beat, it is about combining driving grooves with genuine, deep emotion. βLet It Burnβ is officially my 6th release, and it feels like a milestone where my signature sound, hypnotic, story-driven, and deep has really locked into place.
The Story Behind the Track
This track is incredibly personal. It is a direct homage to my wife. The concept of βLet It Burnβ mirrors our journey together. Our relationship wasnβt a sudden, chaotic flash that burned out quickly, it was a slow, steady, and warm build. It grew from shared laughs and midnight coffees into a deep, unbreakable bond. I wanted to capture that exact feeling: a quiet, safe, and glowing fire that just keeps burning and gets sweeter over time.
The Vibe:
Smooth underground UK tech house at 126 BPM. The energy is deep, slow, hypnotic, and sensual.
Part of the Lyrics
Just a flicker in your eyes, drew me in across the haze
Didnβt see it at the start, but the rhythm found its place
Unfolding easy in the silence, drifting closer through the groove
You crept up as my obsession, your melody feels so smooth
Not a fire that flashes brightly, or a storm that quickly fades
But a secret low and glowing, burning gently without haste
Heat is blooming in the shadows, holding steady, never flows
Something subtle moving inward, growing sweeter as it grows
Let it burn, donβt rush the night
Every spark with you feels right
Let it burn, slow and bright
We were written in this light
Let it burn, down to you
Every road circles back, itβs true

The First Two Weeks: Stats & Feedback
It has been about two weeks since the release on July 3, and the track just crossed the 1,000 streams mark. I have to admit, I completely forgot to actively pitch it this time around. I have been so fully focused on building and running the magazine that my own promo took a complete back seat!
Despite that, the track still found its way into some great playlists, and the feedback has been very humbling. 1 Curators mentioned the βOld-school House and Deep House blend with Progressive nuancesβ and noting how it βbalances emotional intensity and club-ready immediacy.β Other curators left quick, motivating notes like βSound organization feels preciseβ and βCool bassline,β which is exactly what I was aiming for on the technical side.
I am just happy the vibe is translating to the listeners. I would love to hear what you guys think!
