Hey chatsong-fam! Happy to be here. I’m Tank Marwin of Stockholm, Sweden.
I make hip-hop and rap, some would most likely categorize me as “boom-bap” or “traditional underground hip-hop”, but to be honest, I’m open to experimentation, but kinda end up doing the same thing over and over again. 😃
I’ve been doing this, in some form, since my dad brought home a keyboard in 1989. We had drums and guitars at home and my dad was always playing music so it’s always been around me, but I was attracted to other sounds than the rock of the 60:s and 70:s.
I’ve released like 12 albums or something, I lost count. Came back after a 10 year break when Gurra G (of old swedish rap group Just D) and Isak in Bobby Royale asked me to feature. This took me straight back into making music and I bought equipment and software to produce, record and learned the more technical side of making music, determined to be self sufficient.
A year later I mostly focus on writing and recording rap. I let someone else handle the production and mixing side. It’s not what I enjoy the most. I just want to make as much music as I can, and getting heard all over the globe is a bonus. Every single person who hits me back showing love is a blessing.
I’m currently working on new songs with British producer JG Tracks and a horde of american guest rappers.
This project only has US rap features.
