Search Bars: Use the middle bar for music topics or the “Looking for an artist?” or bar to find specific people.

Community Playlist (▶): Click the “Play” button in the top box to instantly listen to member tracks posted

How to Start a Discussion (Mobile)
Every post increases your visibility to search engines and fans.

Start a Discussion: Look for the “+ Start a Discussion” button (next to the QR icon in the corner).

Choose a Category: Select where your post belongs (e.g., New Releases or Music Promotion).

Write & Post: Add a catchy title, tell your story, and include links. Click “Submit” to go live instantly.

Smart Features for Your Post
Automatic Music Player: Paste links from Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, or SoundCloud; they automatically turn into functional music players.

Upload Files: Click the paperclip or image icon to upload MP3s or photos directly from your device.

Easy Share: Click the “Share” button on any post to copy the title and send a link via WhatsApp or Instagram.

👤 Your Profile & Connections
Personal Profile
Visitor Stats: A live counter shows exactly how many people have visited your page.

Capture Profile: Click the camera icon to generate a formatted image of your profile, perfect for Instagram Stories.

Music Integration: Paste Spotify/YouTube links into your “About Me”; the site automatically creates playable players.

Talking & Connecting
Live Chat: Click the floating speech bubble icon (bottom right on desktop, or in the bottom menu on mobile) for real-time messaging.

🖼️ Uploading Images

Click New Discussion or Reply.
Click the Upload button (📎 or image icon).
Choose your image file (JPG, PNG, etc.).
The image will upload and show automatically in your post.

💡 Tip: You can also drag and drop images into the text box!

🔊 Uploading & Sharing Audio

Click the Upload button in the editor.
Choose your audio file (.mp3, .wav, .ogg).
The upload will create a link to the audio file.

To make it playable in the post:
Use this BBCode format manually:

https://your-uploaded-audio-link.mp3[/audio]

Replace the link with the actual URL from the upload.

Help & Tips

If the player doesn’t show, check your file format or use a direct link.

Audio players might look different depending on your browser/device.

You can also use external services like SoundCloud or Vocaroo, and paste the link.

Why post a topic?

Every topic you create helps your music and your name get more visibility. Search engines notice it, fans discover you more easily, and your profile becomes stronger. Posting is the best way to make sure you’re seen and heard.

Step-by-Step Guide (on mobile)

1. Login to Chatsong

Open Chatsong in your browser on your phone.

2. Start a New Topic

Look for the “+ Start a Discussion” button ( next to the qr code right in the corner)

3. Choose the Right Category

Select where your topic belongs—for example New Releases, Music Promotion, Introduce Yourself, or another section.

4. Write Your Topic

Add a clear and catchy title (example: “My new track is live!”).In the text box, tell your story, share your music links, and invite people to listen.You can also upload your cover art or another image to make your post stand out.

5. Publish It

When you’re ready, tap 🔽

Your topic is now visible for all music lovers on Chatsong—and also shows up in search engines over time.

Tips for Mobile Posting

Make your title strong and exciting so people click.

Always include a link to your music (Spotify, YouTube, Bandcamp, SoundCloud, etc.).

Don’t hesitate to post often—every topic helps boost your discoverability.

Welcome to Chatsong! This guide will show you how to securely upload your music and make it playable directly in our community audio player. Whether you’re an artist sharing your first demo or a fan uploading a podcast, this step‑by‑step walkthrough will keep things simple and safe.Prepare Your File

Make sure your file is in MP3 format (Chatsong also supports .wav and .ogg).

Keep the file size under 15 MB for smooth uploads.

- Give your file a clear name, e.g. ArtistName_SongTitle.mp3.

2. Upload Your Track

1. Start a new discussion or reply to an existing one.

2. Click the Upload (📎 paperclip) button below the text box.

3. Select your MP3 file from your device.

4. Wait until the upload finishes—Chatsong will generate a secure link to your file.

Tip: All uploads are handled over HTTPS, so your file is encrypted in transit.

🎵 3. Add the Audio Player

To make your track playable inside your post:

Replace the link with the one generated after your upload.

Sometimes one post says everything.

Whether it’s a powerful story, a song release, or a comment that deserves attention — you can now link directly to it.

Here’s how to do it:

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Go to the post you want to share.

Scroll through the topic until you find the exact reply you want to highlight.

2. Look at the top-right corner of the post.

You’ll see a small timestamp — it might say “2 days ago,” “just now,” or “1 hour ago.”

3. Click on that timestamp.

Your browser will update the URL to include the post number.

4. Copy the full URL from your browser’s address bar.

That’s your Direct Post Link — it leads straight to that reply.

Example

After clicking the timestamp on post #3 in the topic “The Clarity of Space – My First EP”, the link becomes: https://community.chatsong.nl/d/919-the-clarity-of-space-my-first-ep

You can now paste this link anywhere — in a caption, comment, carousel, or social media post.

⚠️ Important Note About TikTok & Instagram

Direct Post Links do not work properly on platforms like:

• TikTok

• Instagram bios

• Stories or Reels

These platforms don’t allow clickable links in most places.

Instead, you can:

• Add the link to your Chatsong profile

• Share it in a comment or DM

• Use a link-in-bio tool like Linktree or Beacons

Here’s how to upload your MP3 and let others listen to your music!

Step-by-step:

Start a new discussion
Click on “Start Discussion” in the top right.

Write a short intro
Add your artist name, track title, and genre in the text box.

Upload your MP3
Click the paperclip icon (Upload button) under the text box.
Select your MP3 file from your phone or computer.
Wait a few seconds — the MP3 file will upload and insert a link automatically ( not always) working on it

Add an audio player (optional)
If the player doesn’t show up automatically, you can use the
BBCode like this:

Just replace the link with your actual uploaded MP3 link
(You have to use a real mp3 link uploaded at a hosting service )to make it play and
This will show a small audio player directly inside your post.

Done!
Click “Post Discussion” — your music is now shared!
