DVRK Romantics (pronounced “Dark”) was formed in 2020 by accomplished musicians and songwriters Rachel Di Biaso and Micky Waters. The duo emerged after collaborating extensively on music for sync licensing and advertising projects through their publisher, Out Standard Music.
Micky Waters is best known as the bassist of the award-winning Irish rock band The Answer, who have shared stages with legendary acts including The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, and Alter Bridge. Throughout his career, Micky has sold over 500,000 records and toured internationally for more than a decade.
Rachel Di Biaso has built a diverse career within the music industry, working across artist management, songwriting, and artist development. She has collaborated with numerous emerging talents, including several BBC Introducing artists, helping shape and develop new musical voices.
Together, DVRK Romantics blend powerful songwriting, atmospheric production, and years of industry experience to create music that connects emotionally while maintaining a distinctive modern edge. Their work reflects influences from alternative pop, indie, and cinematic soundscapes, resulting in a sound that is both captivating and memorable.
