My latest track with Dhani York—I loved the “Rollergirl” version of “Luv U More” (1999), and I really like what Dhani has done with our cover version. I also love the accompanying video, which Schrankenstein Media brought to life in post-production with great attention to detail and imagination. I used to dance to the 1999 version myself, and Dhani, the producer, really liked the track too. The most challenging part was making the vocals sound clean—distorted, yet still human and not too artificial. It took three takes, but Dhani nailed it, and for me personally, it’s just an earworm. ;-)
