GETTING STARTED (5 min)
Q: What is Chatsong?
A: An independent music community for indie artists, producers & songwriters. No algorithms just real support.
Q: How do I sign up?
A: Click “Sign Up” (top right) → email, username, password. Done! Then fill out your profile with a bio, music links (Spotify, SoundCloud, etc.) and a cover photo.
Q: Is it free?
A: 100% free.
Q: Can I stay anonymous?
A: Yes use your artist name instead of your real name.
SHARING YOUR MUSIC
Q: How do I share a track?
A: Three ways:
• Upload MP3: New Discussion → Upload button → it becomes a player when you make a from that part a mp3 link file.
• Paste links: Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud, Bandcamp auto-embed
• Use the Hub: chatsong-community.lovable.app for cover art + easy sharing
Q: Where should I post my music?
A: “New music 🎵” category. Add what you want: feedback? plays? collabs? Be specific!
Q: Can I describe my music in a different language?
A: Yes, but English posts reach more people. Many artists mix languages.

Q: What’s the Live Studio?
A: Click “🎤 OPEN LIVE STUDIO” (top of page) to go live on camera with the community. Real-time connection!
Q: What’s the Artist Radar?
A: See active musicians right now. Click any profile to message them or check their music.
Q: What’s the Fanboard?
A: A wall on your profile where fans leave supportive messages. Check it on any artist’s page!
Q: What’s the Neon Chat?
A: Purple glowing box at the bottom real-time chat where you can share links and connect instantly.
Q: What are Coins & Ranks?
A: Earn points by being active (posts, feedback, presence). Ranks go Spark → Flame → Blazing. 🔥 Just for fun!
Q: What’s the Heat Score?
A: Live ranking of trending discussions. See what’s hot right now!
Q: What’s the Composer’s Corner?
A: A space for composers to share beats & instrumentals. Singers post looking for originals. Perfect for collabs!

FINDING COLLABORATORS
Q: How do I find producers/singers/other artists to work with?
A: Post in “Music collabs” or use the Artist Radar to find people online now. DM them directly!
Q: Can I message artists directly?
A: Yes! Go to their profile and click Message. Perfect for serious collaborations.

Q: What are the rules?
A: Be respectful, no spam, no copyright violations, keep feedback constructive. That’s it!
Q: What if I see something wrong?
A: Click the “Report” button under the post. Chatsongcrew reviews it.
Q: What happens if I break the rules?
A: First a warning, then possible timeout. We believe in second chances!
