Oh, it doesnβt actually have anything directly to do with music.
SourceBook is (or rather, is becoming) a Personal Knowledge Management System. It allows you to organize learning contentβwhether local videos or YouTube reference clipsβinto sections within chapters and subchapters, complete with accompanying text documents or supplementary links. Just like a book does.
I actually put a test version of the Web Viewerβwhich is a component of the systemβonline a while back, featuring a small Ableton Live project and a feedback questionnaire.

Naturally, Iβm still grateful for any feedback I receive (you know the kinds of questions that tend to come up: Does it work properly across all browsers? Does the player run smoothly? How is the navigation? β¦).
In any case, Iβve found that while people on Instagram seem quite taken with the concept when I present it there, the bottom line is that comparatively few actually leave the app to go and engage with it. Especially since it doesnβt work on mobile phonesβonly on desktop (I believe it works on tablets, too, though).
Anyway, Iβm not complaining. The people who *did* take the time to check it out were able to provide me with some truly valuable feedback.
So, yes, I understand your predicament here very well. That said, I value this platform highly, and I would be absolutely delighted if the chat were to flourish.
