I’m excited to share my first single of the year, “MOVE (SAMANKWE)”, a cross-border collaboration between Nigeria 🇳🇬 and South Africa 🇿🇦.
For this project, I teamed up with the prolific producer and artist Yustinez ZA. Our goal was to take the Highlife foundations of our fathers and mothers and reimagine them through a modern lens. They told us to keep pace, but we chose to set the tempo. 🕊️🥂
This track is for the ones who understand that true elegance is a heritage, and the groove is our birthright. It’s built for the dancefloor but rooted in storytelling.
