I’m not sure if this is simply due to macOS, or if you’re experiencing the same thing. But let’s say I click on a YouTube link in one of the chat rooms -> it starts playing, fine.
Then, while it’s playing, I switch rooms and click on another YouTube link -> now this one plays in addition to the one already playing. I can repeat this a few more times until I’m hearing countless audio streams simultaneously.
Perhaps this could be a good starting point for a “Singleton Player”—even if it might be a bit complicated with all the different media types. But having to search for the source to stop each stream before clicking on the next one… naaah 😬
