The Journey So Far
When I first started building Chatsong, I had a vision of a place where music wasn’t just “content” to be scrolled past, but a language to be spoken. I wanted to create a sanctuary where artists and listeners could connect without the pressure of big-tech algorithms or the noise of the mainstream world.
Watching this community move through our recent updates, especially the transition to our new home here at community.chatsong.nl
has been an incredibly moving experience for me.
Why These Updates Matter to Me
I’ll be honest: behind every update, every line of code, and every new feature like the Daily Tune-in Rewards, there is a lot of late-night coffee and even more heart.
The Rewards: This wasn’t just about “gamification.” It was my way of building a system that actually rewards you for being part of our world. Your time is the most valuable thing you give us, and I wanted the platform to give something back.
The Stability: Moving domains and upgrading our tech was a “labor of love” to ensure that your songs and your conversations have a permanent, safe place to live.
A Moment of Gratitude
Seeing you all embrace these changes with such positivity has honestly brought me to tears at times. As the owner, I often see the “bugs” and the “to-do lists,” but when I log in and see the music being shared and the support being given, I see the soul of what we’ve built together.
You aren’t just “users” or “traffic statistics.” You are the reason I do this. You are the heartbeat of Chatsong.
