We are in need of a few talented people who might be able to help out with some instruments we don’t play too well, such as trumpet, trombone, saxophone, melodica, violin, cello, female vocal with interesting foreign accent, and a collection of choirboys (for one line of one song). There may be others, but certainly those.
If you are able to make a clean recording of yourself playing a few lines, and then sharing any subsequent .wav files to our label’s dropbox, we would be delighted to hear from you. Parts are nearly always scored, so if you can read music that would be a tremendous help.
We can’t pay you up front, so if that’s a deal breaker, we are sorry. You will however have your name etched forever on whatever Dark Company recording your contribution was a part of, and will also receive a writing credit if that is the case. Our label pays performers and composers, based on streams and sales income, every year around January or February. It probably won’t be much unless we get another hit record somehow, but it might be enough for a beer or two at least.
