Chatsongcrew Im making an apology for an idea i had for chatsong artists to get together, potentially in 2029. An Artist convention somewhere n Europe. I put a post out ASKING IF ARTISTS WERE INTERESTED IN MOVING 2029 WITH OUR MUSIC TOGETHER.

To give a 3 year planning period, to have artists come together from around the world.

this post is to clarify that I have deleted the post and made a public apology for an idea.

Its still an great idea, but of course its now deleted and will be forgotten soon enough. Apologies for expressions of interest post.

The general response was YES, artists want to connect through chatsong, and that is really beautiful to see.

Chatsongcrew ### DO YOU HAVE A DREAM PROJECT?

3 days before her last brain seizure, my twin sister ANYA was living with me and turned around to say
“Sue, please Keep doing your music, please.. keep writing…”
and I promised her I would,
That was over 10 years ago now as we enter 2026.
I had to learn how to literally function as a person after Anya passed away, and always kept writing in my journals.

With my collection of journals of poetry and prose, all written in large about the cancer experience for both of us, especially from when they became terminal.
Between 2020 - 2024 I began writing lyrics, in 2024 the music, for a collection of songs to dedicate to my twin sister ANYA, who passed away from brain cancer a week before our birthday. It’s a very different relationship to have in your life, from birth, your whole life, and then see that person you have loved completely, go.
It has been the best thing I have done in my life, to keep all my thoughts with Anya in a place other than my heart.

I began getting my writing published in 2013 in magazines, books and collections of poetry and prose. I was now not just an author, I was a songwriter. I learnt how to navigate the industry, how to do everything on my own. this was going to be expensive, exhausting and eventually the greatest thing I have ever done. I did not rest. This meant too much to me.
l finally felt ready to commit my lyrics as copyright from there, and after 2 years of FULL TIME WRITING AND MUSIC COMPOSITION a seriously steep learning curve in all areas of my life to accommodate and further develop the skills necessary. It did matter to me. full time recording, eventually producing and finally releasing 13 songs dedicated to my dear sister.
I have not rested.

LULLABY, AGO, ESCAPE, ONCE, FLYING, NO MORE, HEAVEN, SKY, RAIN, YESTERDAY, MORE OR LESS, REACH YOU, ONLY, and SIDEWAYS including a bonus 3 alterative versions of songs.

I was able to convey the most significant moments in that journey, together.
I will probably never write such strong, emotional and honestly vulnerable lyrics or work so intensively again in my life.
I cannot imagine anything so incredibly moving and consuming from love, experience, and a promise. I was going to keep it.

It was a dream for her….
I made it a dream to attempt to do an album for her…
I did it…

I had a rough start to the new year. My family and I were very sick from Christmas through New Year’s, but things are looking up again now.

It is a fantastic idea!

But unless we can OPENLY ask one another, hey, DO WE WANT TO THINK ABOUT A GROUP CONVENTION/ GATHERING FUNCTION FOR 2- 3 DAYS , potentially in the future, without being free to ask it on Social media ?

The interest was immediate, the response was YES.

I may have asked out of pure interest and possibility, the result was instant. YES.

I leave it up to chatsong now, if they are interested in asking me to continue to find out a valuable source of information BEFORE coming to Chatsong, which would have indicated, this is what people are excited about, they want to connect WITH CHATSONG, with each other, and I feel that it is sad to lose that interest of ASKING A QUESTION.

I DID NOT SAY CHATSONG Had created anything, I asked a question with a rough idea, Nothing was set, nothing had even gone further than a question of DO YOU WANT TO BE IN THIS IF IT HAPPENS?

Suzie Thank you for your message and for the enthusiasm you have for bringing artists together.

I want to clarify something for everyone in the community:
the idea for a Chatsong event is beautiful, but any initiative like this must always be discussed with me first before being shared publicly. Not to block ideas, but to avoid confusion and to keep our community safe, transparent, and aligned.

That said, it is wonderful to see how many artists expressed interest in connecting through Chatsong. It shows how strong and supportive this community truly is.

Chatsongcrew Thank you for seeing the true intention, with great respect to the artists and true community involved in Chatsong to see how we can all grow more TOGETHER, and I thought a random Idea can’t be harmful, or hurtful to ask if anyone would be interested.
I understand your position and work in Chatsong, and have only wanted to continue to support Chatsong to see how we can explore our worlds, together. A simple idea was shared to see if we are actually interested, and with enough interest to offer it to you with at least some data behind it.

Dark Company

Just had a quiet one with the family. For a tiny village of about 200 people at the most, this place does the most amazing fireworks for New Year. It’s called Sylvester here. My youngest and her friends are not keen on the fireworks because it scares the animals, and that’s fair enough. Next year there will be fewer of them I suppose, and I tend to sympathise with our furry and feathered friends in the forests all around, and my daughter and her chums too on that one.
