“How to Start a Topic (Mobile vs Desktop)

On mobile, you’ll see a pencil + square icon in the top right that’s how you create a new topic.
On desktop/laptop, the same button is labeled ‘Post it’. Both do the same thing: they let you start a new thread.
The Indie Thread is title and post your topic on desktop is posting it
On mobile you see a narrow in the right corner and if you scroll down you see start your own topic then choose a tag

So don’t worry if the wording looks different it’s just the design adapting to your device
